Recently cloud computing has emerged as a way to deliver high quality services over the internet. Cloud computing provides various level of services based on the needs of the users. Cloud computing services are mainly divided into three categories i.e. Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS), and Software as a service (SaaS). With the use Cloud computing, organization can significantly minimize their IT cost. Cloud computing has various advantages like:

·         Cost Efficient

·         Almost Unlimited Storage

·         Backup and Recovery

·         Almost Unlimited Storage

·         Automatic Software Integration

·         Quick Deployment

·         Ease of Access

In order to build cloud computing, different steps should be taken, such as:

·         Which deployment model will be chosen?

·         Which services should be offered?

·         Which type of users can access the cloud services?

Question No.1:

An ICT based distance educational institute ABC is going to adopt the cloud computing. One of the purposes is to facilitate the students to have online access to different technologies for the sake of lab practice. So we are supposed to build cloud computing for the ABC organization. So the first step is to choose the deployment model for the organization.

·         ABC Institute has the following requirements:

·         All the resources are shared between different offices on remote locations.

·         All offices may be related to the same domain but may also have different domains

·         All the offices run, managed, and secure all the resources

·         The organizational goal is the same for every office.

·         All the students on the public internet can have access to the institute’s resources.

Being a cloud computing student, which two cloud computing deployment models, will you suggest for the offices and for the students who want to access institute’s resources online? Justify your answer with reason(s).
